一事無成的長周末

這個長周末就兩個人在家裏過了,本來計劃的美美的--做點好吃的,幹點工作,休息一下子。但是周五到男友家放眼一看,我就立刻蔫了。廚具不全,調料也沒有,冰箱空空的,這我都知道,但是地板上散落的到處都是中餐外賣的宣傳單,還有吃了一半的炒麵,到處是飲料瓶,髒盤子,讓我覺得算了,既然他是不講究吃的,我也靈感枯竭,索性糊弄糊弄過去了。

還做了炸豬排,土豆洋蔥蘑菇湯,炒土豆塊,香蕉煎餅--這家夥買了煎餅粉放了四年都不吃,害得我無意之中給他吃了過期食品。不拍照了,流水賬記著就行了。土豆加意式調料汁,煮至綿軟,撒上胡椒粉,就是很好吃的一道菜。男友不吃土豆絲,真是難伺候。不過他這兩天倒是很乖,做什麽都吃掉,連那個我覺得沒臉見人的煎餅也兢兢業業的吃掉。哎,對他真是生不起氣,還得接著做。。

頭很痛,據男友說是中費城的毒太深,到新澤西呼吸新鮮空氣反而不習慣。。 回家了,立刻就精神了。也許是我那個超迷你的廚房吸引力太大吧,這裏一切以我為中心,嗬嗬。。




烤蛋白,什麽都沒加,健康,但沒什麽意思,口感外皮脆,心綿軟,不錯,看來糖還是得加,不過。。。加凍草莓,微甜,好吃~




pepper chicken with hummus
Makes 4 servings.

Quick Kitchen
1/3 cup olive oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
1 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts and/or thighs, cut into 2 1/2 -inch pieces
1 red bell pepper, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide strips
1 Italian frying or Cubanelle pepper, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide strips
1 medium red onion, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide strips
1 (8- to 10-oz) container prepared hummus (preferably Sabra spicy or classic)

Accompaniment: toasted pita bread
Preheat broiler.

Line a large shallow baking pan with foil.

Stir together oil, salt, cumin, pepper, and oregano in a large bowl, then toss with chicken and vegetables. Arrange in baking pan without crowding and broil 4 to 6 inches from heat, stirring once, until chicken is just cooked through and vegetables are lightly charred, about 8 minutes. Divide hummus among plates and top with chicken and vegetables.
