前麵提到的有關澳洲戰俘在海南島的檔案和資料,尚有下列幾種可資參考:

1、海鷗支隊聯誼會宗卷

在澳洲的戰爭紀念館檔案資料中,還有一個宗卷是與海鷗支隊幸存官兵有關的,其宗卷情況如下:

建檔日期:    1985

宗卷內容:    海鷗支隊聯誼會19853月訪華和訪日報告。包括照片、地圖、及相關報導等。此外還包括下列內容:海鷗支隊的曆史背景、聯誼會成立的詳細情況、當年支隊的具體傷亡概要、以及訪華和訪日的目的。詳細記錄有聯誼會老兵前往海南島東方市八所拜謁當年自19444月起失蹤的10位海鷗支隊官兵的地方並尋找其遺物、憑吊當年八所戰俘營遺址及埋葬死難戰友的墓地。並有去當年(1945年)曾庇護過從八所戰俘營逃出的6位海鷗支隊官兵的附近村莊訪問等記錄。
