大森林小木屋
說是大森林裏的小木屋little house in the big woods ，其實這些木屋一點兒都不小。爺爺奶奶為長周末租的這一座Tahoe湖度假屋上下三層，六個臥室，男孩兒們分別在兩個廳裏，二十口人都住下, 是大家遲到的聖誕禮物。可惜今年家庭好友帕西拉沒有來，她早已成為這個大家庭的一員，兩千米的高山她有些不適，所以十九口人。還有一個太陽房，冬天還是稱之為雪景房吧。看得出房子的主人也是大家庭，很多孩子孫子輩兒的人家，全家合影站了好幾排。車庫裏大大小小的雪橇，冰鞋，滑雪靴。。。這樣的生活是一份難得的奢侈。按雪兒堂哥的話說，“雪，你的生日我沒有什麽可送的，有表兄妹在白雪皚皚大森林小木屋一起為你慶祝，汝複何求？”what else can you ask for?
爺爺奶奶也真的不容易，爺爺和姥爺同歲，奶奶和姥姥同歲，姥姥十幾年前就從中國退休了，奶奶現在還堅守著崗位，樂此不疲。爺爺倒是退休了，興高采烈和他的藝術朋友們一起交流，作畫，比上班還忙。他們最大的樂趣就是看著孫子孫女一起玩，一起樂。姥姥呢? 心被東方西方的孫子孫女們牽著扯著，愛代代相傳。也許是看到孩子們長得太快吧，奶奶催著他們趕緊跟爺爺玩一玩雪。Snow won't be here forever...
爺爺已經開始籌備今年的聖誕節，讓我給每個孩子拍照，不要正經八百兒的，要瘋玩瘋鬧的樣子，他畫個孩子們玩雪撬的畫兒，準備來個多媒體藝術，要把孩子們頭像鑲入，做成聖誕卡。
奶奶送雪兒一枚她生日寶石的戒指，跟她耳語幾句，雪兒眼圈紅了。。。一輩子的念想兒，聽起來多麽遙遠，少年不識愁滋味。奶奶和爺爺初相識，是比雪兒還小的年齡。
這周回到家，我把孩子們照片和夢幻般的藍湖，靜謐的港灣，玉潔冰清的冰雪世界照片拿給派特舅媽看。老人家生病了，她還笑眯眯問每個大人孩子的情況，每個人都在她心裏，她的生命愈發綻放光芒。
久違了，冰淩花～～～想起小時候，早上醒來，窗上一層冰淩花，像大樹，像森林。。。這些是汽車窗上的，小小的，似花還似非花，似花還似飛花。

鑽進冰簾子看看，外麵的世界很奇妙
雪地上的腳印，左邊一排來自熊麽？這會兒熊可能冬眠了。。。 右麵還有細小一些的動物蹄子印兒。。。

Tahoe湖半山腰北極星northstar滑冰場，帶上從高中起就陪伴我的冰鞋，來馳騁一番～～～

乘上彩虹的風帆～～～潔白的大地上，留下腳印一串串
Truckee River是Tahoe冰雪溶化匯成的河，這是美國最冷的城市之一，十年間，她有160多天全國最低紀錄。
遠處高山上白色的雪道是南太浩湖south lake Tahoe heavenly雪場，屬於內華達州。

看，小亭子前麵的高爾夫電瓶車已經被大雪覆蓋了。
半山腰上的火車軌道是以前中國和愛爾蘭移民修建的。
