I am more concerned the gap between the poor and the rich.

If the current tax system is not benefiting the rich, how come the gap is becoming bigger and bigger. To me,  the function of the tax are 2: 1. balance the government budget, keep the government running ( I have deficit because I don;t like the idea that next generation pay our debt); 2. keep the society stable, i.e. the gap of the poor and rich are relative stable.
