不必問前生，早在前生見。回首江南細雪飄，紅傘羞羞轉。

泥許印緣深，路許春迎麵，來世天涯半醒時，半夢今生戀。

My love, don't feel bad merely because you don't speak Chinese. The truth is, we both spoke Mandarin in our previous lives. I can never forget that moment when I caught sight of you somewhere in Jiangnan. You must be blushing, so much so that your umbrella couldn't help turning crimson in the spring snow... Please let me go on...You must be wearing a qipao under your fur jacket. Nothing, and I mean nothing, but a qipao could do justice to your figure. No, I didn't tell you all these when you let me greet you. Words simply failed me, you know. I don't drink, but I was instantly drunk on your sing-song Mandarin before you had even finished your first sentence. So, I kept my mouth shut and my ears open. I must also be greedily reading the full rouged lips of yours. Yes, I could go on like this forever. There's no end to this beginning. Indeed, there's no end to our Jiangnan story, a story that's closely followed by our footprints wherever we're together. Our footprints are imprints of our lives past, present and future. 

 

My love, your unspoken Mandarin speaks volumes. Who says you don't speak Chinese?
