Water Lily
English Translation by A. Poulin 
 

My whole life is mine, but whoever says so

will deprive me, for it is infinite.
The ripple of water, the shade of the sky
are mine; it is still the same, my life.

No desire opens me: I am full,
I never close myself with refusal-
in the rythm of my daily soul
I do not desire-I am moved;

by being moved I exert my empire,
making the dreams of night real:
into my body at the bottom of the water
I attract the beyonds of mirrors...

你的整個生命是你自己的 但正是說這話的人
會把我從我生命的無窮盡剝離 
水麵的漣漪 天空的投影 這些
都是我的  又怎麽樣呢
我還是那個我 我的生活沒有絲毫的改變

沒有欲望能夠把我打開 因為我已經完全開放
生活在自己的自然的白日韻律裏
我不會因為波折與推拒 把自己關閉
我不期待不渴望 我隨波而動

在隨波逐流之中 我充盈完善著自己生命的意義
讓夜晚的夢境真實圓滿
在我的身體裏 在水的下麵
我吸引著鏡子裏鏡子外的無窮無盡......
