I love you the northern snow,

Falling from sky, covering all below.

So fine are your dancing steps,

So pure are your heart and soul,

You’re the sister to the vernal rain

And the spring’s harbinger to forego,

Before the spring to go.

 

我愛你塞北的雪

飄飄灑灑漫天遍野

你的舞姿是那樣的輕盈

你的心地是那樣的純潔

你是春雨的親姐妹喲

你是春天派出的使節

春天的使節

 

 I love you the northern snow,

Falling from sky, covering all below.

It’s your body so like white jade

That’ve made the world one of silver glow.

It’s you that melt life onto the fields

To bless for springtime’s floral

And wheat seedlings’ regrowth.
