1/完全同意你，我沒有注意到absorb的這層含義 absorb有一項含義是：
to pay for as part of a commercial transaction; pay for costs
個人認為可以翻成承擔，支付。

2/ 你看這麽改改行嗎. Lord Turner, chairman of the UK's Financial Services Authority, said the new rules represented "a major tightening of global capital standards and will play a major role in creating a more resilient global banking system".
