如果翻譯時能用些idiomatic expressions，表達或許更生動些？

譬如，這股票的“下滑”可用英語習語Lose ground(這個詞根據不同場合有多種意思，在這裏是股票貶值，下滑的意思)，比用down or slide來得更地道,生動,CNN就是這麽報道的，China stocks continued to lose ground on Tuesday.....。

想起很著名的一句國軍宣傳語： 共軍節節敗退，國軍乘勝追擊。
似可譯為： The Communist troops continued to lose ground with the KMT forces in hot pursuit.
