Can -> 讀成 *kin
Can’t -> 讀成 *kant

對話腳本

MAN:       I’m going to take a singing class. Do you want to take it with me?
WOMAN: I don’t need a class. I can sing. My mother says I sound great.
MAN:       Really? I want to hear you.
WOMAN: I can’t sing now.
MAN:       Can’t you just sing a few notes?
WOMAN: All right. “I am going to love you for the rest of my life ,you are my beautiful stranger”
MAN:       You can’t sing.
WOMAN:  What do you mean I can’t sing? I sing with the car radio every day. I can sing.
MAN:       I’m sorry . You’re right. You sound really great. Can you write songs , too?
WOMAN: No, I can sing, but I can’t write songs.

聲調(升/降調):每句都有。例如:
Really?
這句是一個單詞,用的是升調,很明顯,表示疑問:Really?

強調
I can sing. 這兒 慢讀的時候,前麵兩個詞都重讀了,表示強調。快讀的版本,這兩個詞的重讀又有變化了。

I can’t sing now. 不是讀的:I can’t sing now.

重讀
My mother 不是讀成 My mother。

讀示範讀的:
You can’t sing. 沒有讀成:You can’t sing. 這句是我們中國人說英語很頭疼的地方。注意這兒的‘can’t’裏麵最後的輔音‘’t’幾乎沒有讀出聲來,但一定不要漏掉這個音;也就是說,一定要做這個音的發音動作,給這個音留出發音的時間,但不出聲。(就是失去爆破)對照女的讀的 ‘I can sing.’,無論慢讀快讀,裏麵都沒有失去爆破的‘t’的現象。這是區別cancan’t的重要的地方。

讀示範讀的:
You can’t sing. 沒有讀成:You can’t sing.

節奏:每句都有規律可尋。例如這一句,有4個音節,整句的節奏基本是:
 
I can’t sing now.
