從The Gate House 抄來幾句，不知道理解得對否或太羅嗦，請各位老師指正！

I really didn't owe Susan any explanation, but to set the record straight, I thought I should say something-but this had caught me  off guard, and I blurted, "She had too much to drink...我真沒有欠Susan任何解釋，但要把記錄弄清楚，我想我應該說點什麽的，但這會讓我手足無措，我隨口說：。。。

Well, having taken the initiative by making this call, I wasn't going to be blown off that easily, so I said, "I 'm coming by now with an envelope for you.  但這個電話我蓄謀已久，想擺脫我也沒那麽容易，所以我說 ：“我現在就帶上你那個文件上你那兒去”

As I approached the house, I noticed that the previous owners, to whom Susan had sold the house, had marked the boundaries of their property by planting lines of hedgerows around the ten-acre enclave. 正當我朝那房子走去時，我注意到經Susan手買下我們那個房子的前房主在那塊10畝飛地上插了籬笆，劃分了楚河漢界。
