總結應該怎麽譯？

覺得summarize不是總適用。比如這句話“這本書的內容是對公元前200年中國醫學成就的歸納總結。”肯求大家意見，怎麽翻譯這句話。

這句話的中文意思是書的內容海量，以前的醫學知識這一點，那一點，是這本書把雜亂無張的醫學知識歸納，整理成冊。
