Etiquette to the society is like clothes to people. A person will be naked without wearing clothes and be mocked by the others， that will lead to demoralization. The society will land in a sad plight without etiquette. The interpersonal communication will be interrupted by the conflict and fuss. If the society is a train, the etiquette would be like a railway track on which the train could run. If the society is a limousine, the etiquette would be like a wheel and axis on which the carriage could move. Lacking of etiquette, the most intimate friends will become enemies, and the allied countries will fight against each other. We may find lots of cases in human history. I suggest that you should be polite to everybody, and try your best to avoid doing things against propriety so as not to offend others or have enemies.

Etiquette to society is what apparel is to the individual. Without apparel, man will go in shameful nudity which would surely lead to the corruption of morals. And without etiquette, society will be inpitieble state and necessary inter course between members would be interfered with by the needless offenses and troubles. If society were a train, the etiquette will be the rails along which only the train can rumble forth. If society were a state coach, the etiquette will be the wheels and axises on which only the coach can roll forward. The lack of propriety would make the most intimate friends turn to be the most decided enemies¸ and the friendly or allied countries declare war against each other. You can find many examples in the history of mankind. Therefore, I advise you to stand on ceremony before anyone else and to make pains not to do anything against etiquette less to give offenses or make enemies.
