緊急求助：被lay-off 後發現已懷孕，可要求返回職位嗎

大家好，

我上周五被controller告知我的職位將被並入另外兩個同事身上，所以我被lay-off掉了.他問我是否願意工作至下周五，將我的工作train給另外兩人。 我同意了。我在一家公司作Staff Accountant,另外有一Senior Staff Accountant 和一Payroll Accountant.工作能cross-trained.上司就是 Controller.

今天測早孕發現自己已懷孕了。象我這種情況，請問我能回去跟老板說：“我懷孕了， 是在被lay-off 之前受孕的，我不應該被雷，應把另兩職位中的一個並入我們這兩個中來。”

請問如果在工作中懷孕會受到法律保護嗎，i mean 一旦遇到lay-off,孕婦應受到保護幸免嗎？若告他們，勝算大嗎？
