急~！！！收到法庭的信，不知所措，請各位懂法律的朋友幫幫忙~

收到法庭的一封信（不確定是不是法庭的，第一頁是起訴人律師的信，然後是Plaintiff's Claim Form，列出了起訴人和被起訴人的一些信息，然後第三頁是To the defendants,列出了我欠landlord的錢數（搬離apartment前，沒有給提前60天notice，landlord讓在交2個月的房租，由於上大學必須搬離，而且沒有那麽多錢，所以沒交，一起簽約的同學由於回國不回來了，他們找不到他，所以就來找我，我跟他們說我隻交我那份，可是他們說it doesn't work in that way.想問問我這個要求是否合理呢？）然後是讓我file a defence with the court within 20 days after i received this claim.如果我不這樣做，judgment may be entered against me.
想問問，這個defence要怎麽寫，寫完後再怎麽辦？寄給法庭，還是怎麽樣？不去理它，不寫defence也不寄可以嗎？因為我實在沒有那多錢（$4000多），就算他們告我，可是我還是沒有那麽多錢，而且他們也不同意我隻交我那一份，我可以置之不理嗎？還有就是“judgment may be entered against me”是什麽意思？（我的英文太爛了）謝謝各位朋友了~！！！
