During a visit to USA, Sir Winston Churchill was invited to a restaurant that served cold grilled chicken. At the time he wanted to take another piece of chicken, he told the host lady:
“May I have a piece of chicken breast?”
“Mr. Churchill.” the lady said warmly. “We don’t say ‘Breast'; it is customary to call it ‘White Meat’.”
Churchill apologized, but thought the lady was annoying.
On the second day the lady received a flower of orchid with a card: “It would be my honor if you can put the orchid on your ‘White Meat’.”
