thanks for the help. I set the boot sequence to be CDROM, C, A and put win2000 CD in the CDROM. At the startup, the system detect hard drive and can't find it. The it just says
Verifying DMI Pool Data ......
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
seems like the cdrom was not given a chance to boot. does the system disk mean a floppy disk? how to make a system disk?
