sys cd at last message means win2k cd.
normally pc can start with that system cd but
not yours. It seems that your pc has problems,
you can use a start up floppy to boot your
machine.
98: control panel - add programs - startup disk
xp: format the floppy with copy system file option.
You got check your cmos at this point. try auto detect hard drives, to see if your mother board can.
