要主動和manager匯報工作嗎

我的manager隻管出差之類的雜事，具體工作讓另外一個mentor管我，平時開會我是和另外的組telemeeting。

我需要主動要求定期給manager發簡短的報告麽？比如biweekly的？

有一點擔心的是我的mentor也是同一個manager，我發報告的時候當然也會cc給這個mentor。不知道這個mentor會不會覺得我多事。
