My boss asked me to fix a bug, I fixed yesterday, then the client will need to test it. By the time I fixed the bug,it was end of the day and system will be down due to upgrading today. I am new to the team and technology, my team lead said he will export and import the fix to another system before he leave work yesterday. This morning I got into work and I got an email from client about the fix(My boss was CCed and he knows I am the who is fixing the bug) I wasn't sure if my team lead imported the fix or not, I went to see him, he wasn't in yet, I debated if I should reply the client or not before I get the confirmation, then replied the client says the bug is fixed, again my boss was CCed, 5 mins later, client came to say the fix wasn't there. Then my team lead got i and send email saying he didn't import the fix yet. My boss was mad at me that I replied the client without 100% sure about the fix. I didn't want the client wait long, grrrrrrr.....
