If our goal is get the offer (it is different story if we already have a job but want to jump to a higher pay), then, don't let the ball stop in our hand.
Our goal at this moment is make the ball rolling.
Call them, discuss with them, get the salary range, or tell them a range you feel comfortable.
Key point is: I really like the job; I am sure I am one of the best candidate for this position; Let's make a win/win situation to make the ball rolling....
