Don't expect HR would do anything for you. If they decide to give you a Review already then HR has approved. But maybe you can take a chance to talk with your big boss. Use English language is not your mother touge (sorry for my spelling) as an excuse and focus on what efforts you are making to get work done. But the chance is quite high that you go. That's the reality and don't feel bad about it. But it's time for us to learn that we should not always be so blunt. Relationship in the work place works more than working hard.
