My wife recently has been changed to report to a different manager (her original department was cut off and her original manager was resigned). Her job description has not been changed. Her new manager did not like her (I guess her new boss did not like my wife had doctor degree in the field). Even my wife was hesitated to move to her new position; the company vice president (the boss of boss of her manager) put my wife into this new team. And my wife had only 50% working hours under her new manager. Her new manager was very mean to her. Her new manager gave my wife two secretary work loads. Of course, my wife was not able to handle all emails and phone calls (but these two secretaries were taking my wife jobs). If nothing is going to be changed, my wife is going to resign very soon. She today reported this to her original director and VP, whom she reported her other 50% work to.
How to handle this situation in the company?
