單美國高速公路管理局每幾年發一份車型死亡率報告,最新的是2007年, 沒有明顯每百萬死亡率 日車> 美車 > 歐車 的 pattern,如果你一定要把車按出產地劃分的話.
豐田的話,有些車型死亡率很低,有些在中等位置,基本沒有車型在中等以下.
一個很明顯的pattern 是, 車重make a big difference. compact car 總體比 large size car 死亡率要高接近一倍, mini van 的總體死亡率低得出奇, SUV 更多的是roll over 死亡率
