旅夜書懷                    Thoughts On Travel Night
杜甫                       Du Fu
細草微風岸，                  Feathergrass, breeze, river bank,
危檣獨夜舟。                  High mast teetering alone in the night.
星垂平野闊，                  Stars hanging low, plains open wide,
月湧大江流。                  moon runs with vast river flow.
名豈文章著，                  My fame far comes from my poems,
官應老病休。                  age and sickness resign my high post.
飄飄何所似？                  Buffeted, drifted, what am I?
天地一沙鷗。                  A solitary sand gull in between heaven and earth.
