美國伊利諾州唐納斯格羅夫南高中（Downers Grove South High School）爆發醜聞，30歲女教師克莉絲汀娜·佛梅拉（Christina Formella）涉嫌性侵15歲男學生被捕。她身兼特教老師與足球教練，警方公布的隨身攝影機畫麵顯示，她得知被捕原因時，從困惑轉為驚恐，最後崩潰痛哭，令人震驚。
據《每日郵報》報導，佛梅拉本月初在交通攔檢中被捕，當時她與丈夫麥可（Michael）同車，麵對警方要求下車時滿臉疑惑。當員警告知她正接受調查並銬上手銬時，她才驚覺事態嚴重，坦言“非常害怕”。另一段警方視頻顯示，她在偵訊後得知被控加重性侵及對未成年人性侵罪，當場掩麵崩潰，在警車後座啜泣，不斷低語“我的天啊”。
法庭文件揭露，佛梅拉與該男學生互傳露骨訊息。她曾寫道：“我超愛你寶貝…即使今早很短暫，但非常完美。”學生回覆：“我知道寶貝，太完美了。”她還被指控說：“我愛死和你的性愛了。”學生則回應：“我知道寶貝，感覺真好…太激情、太親密、太完美。”這些訊息由地方電視台WGNTV率先披露。
佛梅拉堅稱無辜，辯稱訊息是學生從她手機發送，意圖“勒索”。她承認手機記事本提及該學生，但稱那是“抒發焦慮”之用，涉性內容僅關乎丈夫。
據悉，性侵事件發生於2023年12月，起因是學生放學後參加輔導課。本月，學生母親在他換新手機後登入iCloud，發現這些訊息，案情曝光。佛梅拉否認性侵，聲稱“大家都衝著我來，因為我長得好看”，並指學生入侵她手機設局。她坦承“太關心”學生，但否認不當行為。
佛梅拉自2020年起任教於該校，2021年起擔任男女足球隊教練，受害學生正是其隊員。她被捕後遭停職並帶薪休假，禁止進入校園或聯繫未成年人。
