田壯壯新片《狼災記》改編自日本作家井上靖的小說作品，是一個真實和傳說相結合的故事。講述了中國秦代，在長城以北草原上戍邊的秦軍在一次和當地部落的戰役中，捕獲了一個女子，秦軍統帥與她做了七夜夫妻，結果兩人都變成了狼。影片中，小田切讓和MaggieQ有大量纏綿悱惻的激情戲，尺度大膽。
片中小田切讓與庹宗華的對手戲也頗有看頭。庹宗華飾演的職業軍人張安良，將小田切讓扮演的陸沈康訓練成殺人的工具，兩個人也在軍旅中成為患難。但陸沈康變成狼之後，卻遵循狼的原則將張安良追殺至死。兩個男人的命運因為未知的戰爭而被維係在一起，後來又被未知的因素引向深淵，兩位性格各異的演員過招，將影片情節中的宿命感表達得淋漓盡致。

小田切讓和MaggieQ (小田切讓真酷~~)
《狼災記》是導演田壯壯準備了15年的作品。田壯壯還透露，這部小說是侯孝賢15年前推薦給他的。由於原著隻有一萬餘字，田壯壯以此為核心，延伸出新的故事。“太難了！怎麽拍狼戲，怎麽出現性愛內容，我足足想了15年。”田壯壯感歎說，現在電影要上映了，也算是給侯孝賢導演一個交代.....
