消防隊員在現場展開救援工作
據《紐約每日新聞》報道，當地時間24日淩晨，紐約唐人街一座6層住宅樓發生大火，造成一對年輕情侶死亡。
報道稱，大火發生於當地時間淩晨3點45分左右，火勢蔓延迅速。大火另造成28人受傷，200多人無家可歸。
報道稱死者分別為30歲的Tony Wong和他33歲的女友Anna Luu，他們居住於該棟建築的2層。
許多幸存者表示，大火迅速蔓延至整棟大樓，以至於幾乎沒有逃生的時間。
當局接報後出動近200名消防員和39部消防車到場灌救，經過5個小時撲救後，火勢在早上9點左右被大部分控製。在救援過程中，有9名消防員和1名醫務人員受輕傷。
