《欲火焚琴》講述的是一位鄉下仔到下身癱瘓的富翁家應聘做園丁，後來與富翁之妻發生奸情，後來兩人更殺掉富翁以主人自居！最後是富翁之妻疑神疑鬼，以為富翁亡魂返來複仇，結果在幻覺中將園丁殺死。
