9月6日，一年一度的西班牙卡斯卡摩洛斯（"Cascamorras"）節如約而至，人們也再次塗滿黑色油脂，投入到狂歡之中。
傳說節日源於Baza村與Guadix村對一個聖女像的爭奪。一個叫卡斯卡摩洛斯的人被Guadiz村派到Baza去拿回聖女像。但是由於卡斯卡摩洛斯必須保持幹幹淨淨的才能帶回聖女像，於是Baza人就盡可能把他弄髒，導致他任務失敗。卡斯卡摩洛斯節也就這樣流傳了下來。
