曾經獲得“全英爵士音樂獎最佳女歌手”獎項的 Stacey Kent 原來並不是一個土生土長的英國歌手，出生於紐約的她在到倫敦攻讀意大利文、法文和德文的過程中結識了後來成為她丈夫的薩克斯風手 Jim Tomlinson ，從此半路出家開始了爵士歌手生涯。這位學習歐洲語言文學出身、來自美國的媳婦借著準確的發音和糅合歐陸文化的氣質，很快得到英法樂迷的認同，回到美國也同樣受到矚目。 就像Michael Buble曾被媒體譽為“Frank Sinatra接班人”一樣，Stacey Kent也被英國BBC音樂雜誌讚譽為“Ella Fitzgerald最優秀接班人”。

What a wonderful world這首歌一開始由爵士樂史上最初的天才音樂家Louis Armstrong創作並演唱的，是一曲六十年代經典老歌，後來被多名歌星像Celine Dion、Eva Cassidy等翻唱成為不同的風格。 曾作為電影《早安，越南》、《馬達加斯加》的插曲。 Stacey Kent 這首選自其新專輯《 Breakfast  On The 　 Morning Tram 》，這張專輯裏收錄有 6 首全新作品，其中 5 首歌詞出自“布克獎”著名英籍日裔小說家石黑一雄之手，以“浪漫旅行”作為專輯主題 。
