1941年九月,歲歲重陽,今有重陽。
離海倫的第一次西部之旅,又有三年了。但這時的世界,已是戰火紛飛,硝煙四起。美國的平靜,也還隻乘下最後的幾個月了。

九月大事錄:
9/1: 羅斯福發表演說,以一切資源打敗納粹德國。
9/4:德國潛艇攻擊美軍艦
9/6: 日美為亞太和平做最後的努力。和談的破裂導致了年底太平洋戰爭的爆發。
