1. Upset - /?p?set/  n. unexpected or unlikely defeat or victory of a game, contest, or election，比賽，選舉， 爆冷門，意外勝利或失敗

It would be quite an upset if the favourite didn't win.

 

如果這個奪標大熱門沒有獲勝，那就真是一個大冷門。

2. Signature –. characteristic, distinctive; closely associated with someone or something : making a person or thing easy to recognized; 招牌的, 特色的; 可以形容人，也可以形容事物，

3. Highbrow – /?ha?.bra?/ adj.  （informal） highly cultured， intellectual, academic, and often difficult to understand.（書籍、戲劇等）嚴肅高雅的，陽春白雪的；

highbrow music, highbrow magazine, highbrow language, highbrow salon /s??lɑ?n/

那麽這個詞也可以形容 - (人)文化修養高的;

            Amy thinks opera is too highbrow to be enjoyed by regular people.

Amy認為歌劇太過陽春白雪，普通人無法欣賞。

 

4. shotgun  - n. 獵槍; 那它還有另外的意思，在美式英語當中，非正式的說法，

（US, informal）- front passenger seat；副駕駛座;
