1. cocky - adj. used to describe a young person who is confident in a way that is unpleasant and sometimes rude; (年輕人) 狂妄自負的；趾高氣揚的；驕傲的; 比較口語化

 

arrogant : 也是貶義，指過高估計自己，以致驕傲自大或傲慢無禮，目中無人。a cocky person would be more boastful,

an arrogant person might just give off a sense of thinking they are superior.

 

2. approve of sth.  - to have a good opinion of something; 讚成, 同意…

approve of sb. - 滿意，喜歡 (某人)

               

budget for sth.- … 的預算；注意不要用介詞of; budget for sth.

The company has drawn up a budget for the coming fiscal year.

 

3. for no reason - 無緣無故, 毫無理由、無端, 莫名其妙

for a reason – 不是無緣無故的，是有原因的，

 

4. Make sth clear - To make something easier to understand; 使… 讓人清楚，明白

Tab (tabulation製成表格；清單顯示) - 不是一次的消費，好多的消費小賬單的總和。
