CUSMA has died. CUSMA is a tool for the US to control Canada and Mexico. CUAMA is not binding to the US. The US will break CUSMA whenever it feels fit. It is a humiliation for Canada to enter such a treaty. CUSMA is not a free trade agreement. It is a North America Isolationist agreement. It preventes Canadian economy from accessing the world market.
CUSMA has died because Trump says it is nothing for the US. Since Carney spoke in Davos this year, Canada is no longer a vassal state, and CUSMA becomes irrelevant.
If CUSMA is a free trade agreement, it should have no clause to restrict Canada from trading with other countries. If it has a restriction imposed on Canada, it infringes Canadian sovereignty. Trump has had trade talks with China many times, but none of his talks got consent from Canada and Mexico. The CUSMA restriction applies only to Canada and not the US. That violates the Canadian value of the rule of law.
Forget about CUSMA. It is a disgrace to Canada.
