讀書：Chemistry by Weike Wang

最近讀了一本新出的小說，喜歡。小說的主人公1989年出生在上海,女生。1994年她隨父母來到美國。20幾歲的她在波士頓名校讀化學博士，發現自己並不熱愛化學。同居四年的男友求婚，她沒有接受也沒有拒絕。

小說的設定很簡單：一男友，一女友，一隻狗，一心理醫生，一對來自上海的60後父母，一實驗室同學，一家教學生，構成了主人公的全部世界。

小說的語言也有自己的特色：簡潔，幽默，碎片，現代。適合夏天旅行時閱讀。

這是作者出版的第一本小說，我猜想本書帶有自傳的性質。作者哈佛大學博士畢業，之後在波士頓大學學習寫作。讀二代移民的小說我會想：若幹年後自己的孩子會怎麽描述我和我們家呢？
