It's on track (2)
-Aoji
As usual, Liz told me that she was taking me out to Mitchel park as our first stop.
In general, I love going there – my best Puddle friend Sue lives right across the park entry way. Sue’s voice is so gentle and soft. That calms me immediately whenever I am near her. Her hair is so long, golden, smooth and shiny. Touching that is never forgetting electrifying experience. How wonderful!
But today, I have something else in mind.
I, need to see the tracks.
What's “on track” exactly? And, it can be on and off track? It has been puzzling me for years. Gradually, it’s growing into something that bothers me.
Finding out the truth is my mission statement for the day!
As nice and smart as Liz, she did not understand me when I ignored her treat and tugged the leash really hard. She gave me another variation of treat, and another, and another. I did not approve any of those. I just barked and tugged.
Being patient in this situation is just not something I appreciate. I openly hoped that Liz would got angry and kick me out of her way, then, I can escape by jumping over the backyard door! I thought about the inconvenience of wondering around with a leash, and decided it’s tolerable as long as the mission is accomplished at the end of the day. It’s just the cost I have to pay. Deal.
“Oh, Marv, how do you know I got you a new leash!” Liz yelled and turned her frustrated frown face back into her beautiful flowery one, feeling content thinking she might have figured out the reason why I was fuzzy.
She held me to her chest and carefully unleashed me. Then, she stood up to reached out to her purse.
Wow!
I was out into the back yard!
Wow Wow!
I was over the fence!
Wow Wow Wow!
I was going to be on tracks to find out what’s on track!
Woooow!
By the way, I am leash free!
