治學三境界

 

昨夜西風凋碧樹，

獨上高樓，

望盡天涯路。

Last night, the west wind swept their trees of green foliage,  

When, alone, I ascended to the tall hermitage, 

I searched the path to where it disappeared beyond the world's edge.

 

衣帶漸寬終不悔，

為伊消得人憔悴。

I don't regret my clothes are getting loose, 

For I’m eager to pine for you, in truth. 

 

眾裏尋他千百度，

驀然回首，

那人卻在，

燈火闌珊處。

After repeated failure to find you in the crowd,

Abruptly I turn around,

And there you are 

Right in the waning light.
