紐約印象

當初在新大陸上的第一腳，就踏在紐約的地皮上。從此和紐約纏綿多年，喜好厭惡交織。

在街頭順手抓拍幾張照片，按心裏的印象作成版畫效果。如果有時間畫紐約的話，也就是畫成這樣了。
 
這幾幅是用白天的照片“做”成的。黑色上是誇張了些。把紐約的生活中西部、南部的生活相比，在紐約可以活得很精彩，很有色彩，但卻不輕鬆。精彩的同時負荷重得多。今天正好在紐約的辦公室，和同事聊天說到，每次到紐約來，中午比在中部都要餓得早。大家說可能一是空調溫度低些，二是紐約的節奏快些，熱量消耗就大些。有的同事說每天回到了新澤西車站，走路不自覺地都馬上比在紐約街頭慢些。

紐約的精彩，和外部的陳舊和冷酷差異很大，要進到“裏麵”才能“嚐”到。它在文化和生活裏的豐富，不是走馬觀花從外麵能真正了解。而每個人能夠經曆領會到的豐富和精彩，還看各人在什麽圈子生活，自己在情趣注意力上的取舍。光怪陸離，豐富多彩這樣的詞，還是用在黑色的後麵比較合適。紐約和紐約人一樣，從外表上，要比它的內部世界生硬、冷漠、沉重的多。

用在這裏的重重的黑色，一是覺得比較符合自己對紐約的外表形象的印象，二是很喜歡黑色在版畫裏使色彩對比更強烈絢麗，留下很豐富的想象空間。 要做版畫，我肯定對黑色有特別的偏愛。用一個黑色在不同的圖畫裏表達赤橙黃綠青藍紫的不同情調，是個很有趣的遊戲。
