浮生飄絮（ 172：一顆天使之心)

（Shanjing）

An old black woman
in her early eighties，
sitting in a wheelchair，
and just finished her MA degree
in counseling psychology.

She is looking for a job
to work in a prison
to help those young black inmates;
many were jailed
for having committed homicides.

At such an old age, when asked why,
this was her hearty reply:
struggling in poverty until middle age,
never had a chance to go to college;
not until reaching her mid-seventies,
done with raising her own and grand kids
when，finally,  she was able to seek
 her childhood desire.

Now that she has fulfilled her dream,
she wants to help those unfortunate younsters 
who rarely knew the warm touches of an unbroken family
and left lost on the streets,
in drugs and violent crimes.

Now that she has the knowhow,
she wants to make good use of her skills,
even though in a wheelchair
and at such an old age.
