Did You Hear Me?

This is what I wrote to myself when I was applying for jobs first semester of senior year. I work in NY now.
It is exactly like 4 years ago. When I was applying for US universities. Exactly the same.
There ware rejections, rejections. And now declines, declines. But I firmly believe there will be someone out there intelligent and observant enough to see your passion, your spark in the eye, your desire of something you really want...and that person will shape your future, help you to achieve your goals and expand your potentials. You don't even know that person, but there is such a person. There must be such a person.
It is exactly like 4 years ago. The only difference is that I have been through more pain, and am facing a more severe competition.
People will see your value, if you truly believe in those values yourself. I do believe Yale chose me 4 years ago for a reason. Yale must had seen things within my personality and character that Harvard didn't see or Princeton didn't see. I hope the same for myself now.
I know I will be patient, persistent and strong enough to take the burden on my own shoulder, and quietly but excitedly wait for the first sunshine of the new world. I know it is not the end of the world if things don't work out for you at this moment. Things will work out eventually, and in a even better way.
There is a perfect tiny spot in the world waiting for me to step on. There has to be one. If there is nothing yet, there will be.
