The Computer Scientist and the Little Frog
The other day, my pal Chris, a well-known computer scientist, was walking down a countryside road when he caught sight of a little frog.
The little frog shouted to him: “If you kiss me, I could turn myself into a beautiful princess!”
Chris bent over, picked up the little frog, and put it in his jacket pocket.
The little frog spoke again: “If you kiss me, I will become a beautiful princess and I will stay with you for a month.”
Chris took the little frog out of his pocket, looked at it, gave a slight smile, and put the little frog back.
The little frog tried again: “If you kiss me, I will transform myself into a very beautiful princess, I will stay with you for a year, and I will do whatever you want.”
Again, Chris took the little frog out, smiled even wider, and then put it back in his pocket.
The little frog, now frustrated, spoke one last time: “I have told you that I could transform myself into a beautiful princess, that I would stay with you for a year, and that you could do anything you want with me! What is the problem?”
Chris answered: “So what? You know, I’m a computer scientist. I don't have time for a girlfriend, but a little frog that can talk? That is very cool!”

小青蛙，現在沮喪起來，說了最後一句：“我已經告訴你我會變成一個漂亮的公主，可以陪你一年，而且你想讓我做什麽我都會為你做，你到底有什麽問題呀？”
克裏斯回答說：“那算什麽？你知道，我是計算機科學家。我可沒時間有個女朋友，不過，有一隻會說話的小青蛙？那才是聊勝於無呢！”
