The Slingshot and the Stupid

Fritzchen and his friend make a slingshot. When it is finished, they go to the playground and meet "the stupid." As always, he is standing under a tree with an apple on his head.
The first shot hits him, and an eye is gone. The stupid begins to cry.
Fritzchen says, "Don't do anything! You still have one eye. My next shot will definitely hit the apple."
The second shot hits him again, and his other eye is gone. The stupid cries and walks away.
Fritzchen asks why he's leaving. The stupid says, "My mom told me that when it's dark, I should go home."
