A Case for the Police
Tears in his eyes, a farmer named Erwin, came to the police station. He said he had found his donkey dead in its stall. A police officer asked if he had found any evidence of foul play.
Erwin honestly said, “The donkey was old and sick, had suffered for a long time and was finally dead.”
The police officer was curious and asked, “Why do you come to our station?”
The farmer answered, “I just want to inform the donkey’s next of kin of its death.”
農夫Erwin流著眼淚來到了警察局，說他今天早上發現他的驢死在了驢圈裏。警察問他是否發現有犯罪的線索。
Erwin誠實地說驢是又老又病而且忍受了長期的痛苦終於死了。
警察覺得奇怪就問Erwin那你為什麽來到警察局。農夫回答我就是想讓驢的近親知道這個噩耗。
