I am not sure what kind of writing you are working on.
Is it more emphasised in writing skills or is it just for
daily communication needs?
I had read a couple of books on technical writing and
writing in English in general years ago. To my understanding,
The formal writing format/flow in English is pretty similar
to that in Chinese.
If what you desire is in how to express yourself in English,
all the meaningful advices I have got is that you need to
READ more, and practice writing as much as you can.

I also heard that The New Yorker, the magazine, is good for
improving writing. But to be honest, I don't know what kind
of writing it helps the most, and I don't get time to read
even one issue of it carefully yet.
Thank you for your compliments. I practice reading the text
following the original audio for about 20 times, then I practice
on my own for a few times before doing the final recording, which is done on my own.
