Elia

I have a gift for you,
You said,
with the sun in your eyes 
with the summer on your face. 
What? I asked. 
Here is the olive tree －－ elia.
 
It's beautiful. I said. 
Yes. But it needs care.
It needs water if you want it to grow.
It needs sun if you want the fruit.

我給你帶來了一個禮物
你說
太陽的光亮在你的眼裏
夏的熱情在你的臉上
是什麽？我問
一棵橄欖樹－－伊裏雅 

很漂亮，我說
是的，
但它需要細心的嗬護
它需要水如果你想它長高
它需要陽光如果你要它的果實
