介紹長島東端的Southampton Social Club -- Dining.

該Club是Hamptons 的標誌。她的主廚叫:Scott Kampf. 其是Chaine Des Rotisseurs of Excellence and Star Chef's people's Choice Award. 獲獎人。他也是美國“Iron Chef America"的獲獎人。
七月三日晚和太太高高興興地,”大“吃一頓。由於不讓拍照,俺隻得從其網站上抄了點照片。。。
由於要等,棉農和太太先點酒等在外麵叫號。。該
Club提供上好的Cocktail.我點了一個“The Roaring Twenties" --Belvedere Intense Vodka, St. Germaine, Grapefruit Juice and Fresh Lime on the Rocks. 當然,是棉農抄Menu ,讓棉農點,就知道名字,好喝。。。赫赫。太太點了“Southampton Iced Tea", 由於太太不喝酒讓酒保將vodka拿掉。
不久號就到了(要事先預訂),坐下來點Appertizers, 大廚Kampf拿手開胃菜是:The braised short rib sliders, prepared with a roasted strawberry barbecue sauce,cale slaw on toasted broiche with gherkins. 好吃無話講,減肥別想。
又點了一份"The edamame and chickpea hummus with roasted garlic and citrus with kalamata olive and hemp flatbread. " 準確講就是Hummus醬沾麵包。。俺棉農就喜歡直來直去。。。
當然,此時再點個“crispy zucchini chips with garlic aioli"就更好了,但在減肥,被太太攔下,可惜。
主餐(entrees),俺點了個cast iron seared filet mignon---突然想起2刀講的well-done, 差點笑出來。。。被太太狠狠地瞪了一眼。。太太點的是"The pan seared striped bass with local roasted asparagus and organic quinoa."
俺的filet with Bourguignon butter, roasted peanut, charred baby carrots and a malbec demiglace."
For Dessert, 咖啡 + mini raspberry frozen daiquiris made with Bacardi rum, cointreau and fresh lime. 棉農太土,沒鬧明白,反正太太點,俺跟著吃就可以了。。。。
從坐下到結束1個小時5分鍾。。還像當兵時那樣,快,快,快。
