need help for bile duct cancer (膽管癌)

Question:

post for a friend. His uncle has bile duct cancer (膽管癌). Does any one know any good medicine for cure or help this kind of cancer.

Generally, biliary duct carcinoma is not sensitive to almost any anti-cancer medications currently available. The treatment strategy is made depending on the tumor-related factors, such as the size, location, adjacent vessel involvement, and the presence of distant metastases, etc. But some others contribute too, e.g. the general status of the patient, and even the technique and the aggressiveness of the surgeon you meet.

Simply, if it is resectable, though usually it'll be a big surgery, remove it. If not, palliative measures should be taken to maitain the quality of life. All the two strategies should be highly tailored to the patient's condition.
