澳洲報刊有關桂係報導選(9)

去年大陸熱播的電視連續劇《人間正道是滄桑》裏，曾經有一個國共情報係統人員合作、在廣西上空將日軍航空隊司令的飛機幹掉的情節，而下麵的這篇有關在廣西打下日軍零式飛機的報道，就從一個側麵為這個情節提供了真實的依據。

Investigation by an American Air Force officer into an enemy plane crash in Kwangsi Province indicates that a Japanese squadron leader shot down the Zero when motor trouble developed.

The officer, who salvaged portion of the wrecked plane, said the wrecked Zero was one of 6 on reconnaissance. Chinese observers saw the leader circle a faltering plane, and then heard gunfire. The Zero immediately plummeted into a rice paddy field, narrowly missing a house.

The officer is of opinion that «the Japanese squadron leader acted to prevent interrogation of the pilot.
