戰時被拘押的台灣僑民從澳洲遣返(4)

澳大利亞國家檔案館中有關台灣僑民和戰俘遣返的檔案資料 

前麵提供的照片所反映的是二次世界大戰後，那些戰時關押在澳洲的台灣僑民最終被遣返回鄉的情景。實際上，這些被遣返的台灣人，包括二部分人：一是作為平民的僑民，他們戰時被作為敵國的僑民而被關押在澳洲不同地方的集中營裏；二是那些參加日軍在巴布亞新幾內亞與盟軍作戰的台灣義勇隊軍人，他們在戰後作為戰俘被關押在澳洲和巴布亞新幾內亞等地。戰後，因台灣回歸中國，這些僑民和戰俘經中國政府與盟國商量，由海外的中國領事機構安排，陸續遣返回台灣。

所有這些，實際上都可以在澳大利亞國家檔案館裏找到相應的檔案資料。這些檔案資料實際上上也分為二部分，即涉及關押在澳洲的台灣僑民（當時是將其與韓國人一道歸入日本僑民裏邊的）及作為戰俘的台灣軍人。
